Northwestern's chances of making their first NCAA Tournament appearance are dependent on their ability to win the games they should win, and that means heading into Big Ten play 12-1. The Wildcats' non-conference schedule provided little margin of error, with one marquee matchup against North Carolina, a couple of tests in Missouri and Virginia Tech, and the rest being games Northwestern should be able to handle.
