Northwestern junior point guard Bryant McIntosh has put his name atop Northwestern history books with his 529th, surpassing Juice Thompson’s career mark of 528. The assist came at the 13:49 mark of the second half of Northwestern’s game against Purdue when McIntosh found Vic Law for a dunk.
McIntosh, who leads the nation in career assists by a non-senior, has started since he arrived in Evanston and earned his own campaign — #BMac4TheDime — this season after shattering the single-season Northwestern record last season.
As a freshman, McIntosh appeared in all 32 games, starting 30, and made the Big Ten All-Freshman team.
