Bryant McIntosh avoids major ligament damage in left knee

Northwestern will end 2017 with a huge sigh of relief. An MRI on Bryant McIntosh’s left knee revealed that the senior avoided “major ligament damage” from an injury sustained in Saturday’s game against Brown.

McIntosh exited the game early in the second half and is listed as day-to-day. He was replaced by a combination of Jordan Ash (20 minutes), Isiah Brown (17) and Anthony Gaines (22), who helped lead Northwestern’s comeback effort.
