After some impressive performances in the preseason, Trevor Siemian appears to have beaten out incumbent third-stringer Zac Dysert for a spot with the Denver Broncos. The news was first reported by Mike Klis of 9News:
Siemian has impressed this preseason, starting with a 5-for-6, 90-yard outing against the Seattle Seahawks' reserves. Dysert, meanwhile, went 2-for-5 for 14 yards that night.
He also led the Broncos on a game-winning drive in Week 2 against the Texans, capping it off with a touchdown pass:
