Northwestern will play Butler on the road in the 2016 Gavitt Games, per Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Butler will host Northwestern as part of the 2016 Gavitt Games, sources told @CBSSports. Official date and time is TBD.

The Gavitt Games, an annual series between the Big East and Big Ten, are in their second year of existence. Northwestern did not play in last year's games, which were split, with each conference winning four games.
Because the Big Ten has 14 teams and the Big East only has 10, Big Ten teams are only guaranteed four games over the eight-year series.
