Nice pickup for the Wildcats.
Northwestern picked up a big commitment Tuesday from three-star cornerback Roderick Campbell Jr. He is the third commit of NU's 2016 class and the highest-rated recruit of the group, coming in at a .8618 rating in 247 Sports' Composite Ratings.
Campbell had an impressive list of offers, including Notre Dame, Iowa, Arizona State, Kentucky, Duke and Illinois, and he will join a stacked roster of cornerbacks for the Wildcats. He is also the second corner to commit in the 2016 class, along with Brian Bullock.
Campbell attends Chaminade College Prep in Saint Louis, Missouri.
