The beauty of this weekend’s Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational is that it showed both the Northern Iowa and Iowa State wrestling programs how they stack up against some of the nation’s best.
When competition wrapped up on Saturday at the Las Vegas Convention Center, both the Panthers and Cyclones proved they belonged, even if only to varying degrees.
Northern Iowa finished fourth, with 94 points, while the Cyclones took sixth, with 82.5. Nebraska won it (118), followed by Ohio State (109.
