It was fitting that, on a night dedicated to the program's seniors, the Northern Iowa wrestling team's seniors led the way.
The Panthers throttled West Virginia, 36-6, at the West Gym in Cedar Falls on Friday night. They improve to 7-3 overall and 6-1 against Big 12 competition. Even more, Northern Iowa has now won six duals in a row, and seven of its last eight.
Against the struggling Mountaineers (3-10, 0-5), the 15th-ranked Panthers took eight of 10 matches and scored bonus points in five of them.
