One day after dominating South Dakota State, the Northern Iowa wrestling team dropped a non-conference tilt to host Nebraska.

The Panthers lost to the Huskers, 22-12, on Saturday night at the Devaney Center in Lincoln. Northern Iowa, ranked No. 19 nationally by Trackwrestling, falls to 2-3 overall. Nebraska, ranked No. 8, improves to 7-2.

The Huskers ultimately took 6 of 10 matches and scored the only two bonus-point victories of the evening.
