Tuesday became an interesting day in Iowa City.
Iowa wrestling coach Tom Brands and Spencer Lee held a news conference at Kinnick Stadium, which sounds a little odd written out like that, primarily so Spencer could formally receive the 2020 Hodge Trophy, but it was also a chance for us to talk to Brands about his Hawkeyes and the 2021 season.
And, among other things, he delivered this gem about the process the Big Ten took in releasing its wrestling schedules:
