The Northern Iowa wrestling program continued its torrid run on the recruiting trail on Wednesday evening.
Jared Simma, out of St. Thomas Aquinas in Kansas, announced his commitment to Northern Iowa with a tweet. He becomes the Panthers' first 2021 recruit, and projects at 165 pounds.
"I am excited to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at the University of Northern Iowa," Simma wrote in a tweet, announcing his decision.
"I want to thank my family and all my coaches that have helped me throughout this journey.
