AMES, Ia. — The Iowa State and Northern Iowa wrestling teams both looked ahead to Sunday’s triangular against No. 15 Missouri, but for different reasons.
For the eighth-ranked Cyclones, it was an opportunity to see if they were really top-10 material after beating up on Division II and III programs to start the season.
For the Panthers, it was a chance to see how close they were to some of the best teams in the country after two exciting wins over North Dakota State and South Dakota State last week.
Turns out, both teams have some work to do after the Tigers registered two decisive victories on Sunday afternoon at Hilton Coliseum.
