Iowa State needs to protect itself from another disappointing dual, especially against an in-state rival.
The two squads will square off at 7 p.m. Friday in Ames, both in dire need of a mid-season boost.
“The last couple of times, they have taken it to us pretty good,” UNI head coach Doug Schwab said in a release Thursday. “It’s a big meet for a lot of reasons. For us, we have to respond to that. We have to get up for this meet. I don’t think that will be much of an issue.
