AMES, Iowa --- UNI wrestling crowned three champions on Saturday afternoon as the Panthers sent 20 wrestlers to the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open at Hilton Coliseum in open competition.
Dajun Johnson claimed victory in the eight-man 157-pound bracket, while Parker Keckeisen took first place at 184 pounds. Wyatt Voelker picked up his second open title at 197 pounds against a seven-man field.
Four Panthers also finished as runners-up in their respective weight classes, including Cory Land (133 pounds), Connor Thorpe (141 pounds), Ryder Downey (149 pounds) and Evan Yant (157 pounds).
