PLEASANT HILL, Iowa – UNI grabbed the title at four weights, and a total of 10 Panthers medaled at the Grand View Open today.
In the freshman/sophomore division, Kyle Biscoglia and Jacob Schipper shared the title at 125 pounds. Michael Blockhus, Cayd Lara and Tyrell Gordon won their second consecutive open titles at 141 pounds, 157 pounds and 197 pounds, respectively.
The Panthers racked up bonus points with 16 falls on the day. They led the field with the best winning percentage of all the teams (55 wins, 16 losses).
