The UNI women’s basketball team improved to 5-5 with a 75-59 home win over Tulsa.
Jen Keitel led the Panthers offensively with a game-high 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting. She was perfect from both 3-point ranger (2-for-2) and at the free-throw line (3-for-3).
Joining Keitel in the offensive attack were Amber Sorenson and Madison Weekly. The duo scored 17 and 12 poitns, respectively. Weekly and Sorenson both hit three 3-point shots.
Tulsa got 14 points apiece from Erika Wakefield and Ashley Clark.
The victory gave UNI its most nonconference wins since the 2012-13 season with one game remaining before Missouri Valley Conference play begins.
