CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The UNI volleyball team took care of Missouri State in three sets Friday night, defeating the Bears with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, and 25-21.
The Panthers started slow in the opening set, taking their first lead late set at 17-16 before stringing together points to win 25-18. The Panthers could not be slowed in the second, cruising to a 25-13 set win behind six Piper Thomas kills. The third set was close from start to finish with the Panthers narrowly taking the set 25-21.
The Panthers were led by Karlie Taylor who finished the night with a three set double-double, recording 18 kills and 12 digs.
