LEXINGTON, Kentucky – The UNI Panther volleyball team was shut out in a 3-0 loss Saturday versus the Creighton Bluejays. Creighton, which upset No. 3 Kentucky earlier in the day and is receiving votes in the AVCA Top 25 Poll, defeated UNI by set scores of 25-20, 25-21, and 25-11.
UNI collected 29 kills while hitting .073 in the contest. The Panthers had no aces but erred only twice on 54 serves. Defensively, UNI tallied 40 digs and six blocks.
Kira Fallert led the Panthers with eight kills. Tayler Alden (13) and Jenna Brandt (10) each reached double digits in assists.
