CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – UNI track and field is back in action after the holiday break. They return to Iowa City on Friday, Jan. 10, for the Hawkeye Invite at the University of Iowa Recreation Building.
The Hawkeye Invite hosts teams from Bradley, Iowa Central, Northern Illinois, Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville, and Western Illinois.
The Panthers look to continue to build off of the success of the Jimmy Grant Invite. Numerous athletes had a strong start to the season with multiple personal records (PRs) and freshmen debuts.
Darius King now sits second in the NCAA in the shot put, but claimed the school, meet, and facility records with a throw of 19.
