SACRAMENTO, Calif. --- UNI's Isaiah Trousil secured his first trip to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday night as the Panther sprinter put on an impressive show in his final races of the NCAA West Regionals at Hornet Stadium.
After taking fifth place overall in Wednesday's 100-meter dash first round heats with a time of 10.27 seconds, Trousil clocked a 10.11 second sprint in the third and final heat to take seventh place overall. By finishing in the top-12 overall, Trousil becomes the first Panther to make the NCAA Championships in the 100 meters since Brandon Carnes in 2017.
