IOWA CITY, Iowa — UNI track and field returned to the University of Iowa for the second time in the last month as the Panthers competed in the Hawkeye Invitational inside the Iowa Indoor Track Building on Friday and Saturday.
The Panthers excelled in the field events as Parker Kiewiet led the way for the purple and gold with a first place finish in the men's long jump, setting a new personal-best and meet record with a jump of 24 feet, 11 inches. Kiewiet's jump also registered as the third longest jump in UNI indoor track and field history.
