CEDAR FALLS | The University of Northern Iowa has appointed a committee to conduct a national search for a new athletic director.
Michael Hager, senior vice president of finance and operations, will serve as chair of the committee. The university plans to utilize the services of a search firm to support the search process.
Members of the search committee, in addition to Hager, include: Jerry Harris, former UNI student athlete and current COO of Western Home Communities; Jan Bittner, retired UNI volleyball coach and member of the UNI Foundation Board; Tatiana Rice, current UNI student athlete; Tanya Warren, UNI women’s basketball head coach; John Fritch, dean of the College of Humanities, Arts and Sciences; Elaine Eshbaugh, NCAA faculty athletics representative; and Lisa Baronio, vice president for university advancement.
