SIOUX FALLS, S.D.. —The University of Northern Iowa women's swimming and diving team began day one of competition at the South Dakota quadrangular.
The Panthers started off strong, earning eight first-place finishes in individual races.
Crystal Florman swam to first place finishes in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly events. Florman swam a time of twenty-three seconds and 94 hundredths of a second. Florman was two seconds ahead of the competition in the 100 butterfly, timing in at 57.21.
Jordan McCullough swam a time of 10:53.
