CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – UNI Athletics is proud to announce the success Panther student-athletes demonstrated in the classroom last semester.
UNI student-athletes posted a department-wide semester GPA of 3.32 with every team hitting the 3.00 mark and seven of UNI's 15 teams carried a GPA over 3.46. The mark is the fourth consecutive semester over 3.30 and surpasses the department goal of a 3.2 semester GPA listed as a metric in Panthers Rising, UNI's strategic plan.
"Our student-athletes continue to excel in the classroom and in competition." said Stacia Eggers, senior associate athletic director for student services.
