EVANSVILLE, Ind. -- Two major surges on offense would lead UNI softball to their fourth and fifth conference wins of the 2022 season against the Evansville Aces.
In both games, on Saturday afternoon the Panthers would have a multi-run inning to set up wins against the Aces. During the first game of the double-header, UNI was able to take advantage of an unusual play at first to begin an offensive surge. To clinch the double-header victory, Panther ace Kailyn Packard only allowed one hit in 16 at-bats to shut out Evansville while the UNI offense put up 10 runs in five innings of play.
