TULSA, Okla. -- The Panthers picked up their first win over Sam Houston State since 2017 as they split games on their second day in the Sooner State.
Two big offensive innings were enough for UNI to win its 10th game of the season against the Kats. But the Panther offense didn't continue its hot streak into their second game, as they were held to a single hit by the Golden Hurricane. With the win against Sam Houston State, UNI's record remains above .500 with one game left in the non-conference portion of the season.
