CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – Mother Nature has given UNI softball more time to drum up pledges for this year's annual Hit-a-Thon now scheduled for 5 p.m. Oct. 11.
The event was set for today but has been moved due to weather concerns. In addition to current student-athletes, celebrity coaches will be going to bat for UNI softball in an event similar to a home run derby.
Panther basketball coach Ben Jacobson returns for his second year. He will be joined by football coach Mark Farley and wrestling coach Doug Schwab.
