VALPARAISO, Ind. -- UNI softball extended its winning streak to seven games with two afternoon wins against the Valparaiso Beacons on Friday.
The Panthers put up 14 runs through 14 innings in two games versus the Beacons for a 9-1 win and a 5-0 shutout win. UNI continued their home run average of 1.41 bombs per game with four home runs over the afternoon against three different Valparaiso pitchers.
