KISSIMMEE, Fla. - The University of Northern Iowa women's tennis team snapped a six-match losing skid with a 5-2 victory Wednesday over Quinnipiac.
UNI (2-10 overall) won the doubles points for only the third time season. In fact, UNI won all three doubles matches, which marked the second time this season that the Panthers had won all three doubles matches.
The Panthers then added four victories in singles play to record its first dual win since Feb. 13. UNI's Jieke Stroobant recorded a straight-set win at No. 1 singles over Sophia Dzulynsky, 6-2, 6-3.
