CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa track and field program is set to kick off the 2016 season with the Panther Open on Saturday, Jan. 16 inside the UNI-Dome.
The meet is set to start at 11 a.m. with field events, followed by the running events starting on the track at noon. The Panthers will be competing against student-athletes from Grand View, Iowa State and Upper Iowa with the meet being free to the public.
UNI returns 21 seniors between the men's and women's programs to the track this year, hoping to build off a record breaking 2015 season.
