CHARLESTON, S.C. – UNI football quarterback Theo Day is among the candidates on the 2021 midseason watch list for the CFPA FCS National Performer of the Year trophy.
All FCS players are eligible for the College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) honor. Thirty-four players earned spots on the list. The 2021 CFPA FCS National Performer of the Year will be announced Jan. 12, 2022. Seven players from the Missouri Valley Football Conference made the list.
Day is in his first year at UNI after transferring from Michigan State. The Canton, Michigan, native took over starting duties as the Panther quarterback at UNI's first home game of the season.
