Box Score INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The University of Northern Iowa women's basketball program picked up a win over the IUPUI Jaguars on Friday night, winning 69-62 to improve to 1-0 on the season.
UNI held a 12-point lead at one point in the game, but found themselves down by a point in the fourth quarter. Thanks to a hot hand from sophomore Ellie Herzberg, the Panthers regained the lead and sealed the win.
Herzberg finished the game with a career-high 22 points on 9-of-13 shooting from the field, adding two steals and five rebounds for a well-rounded game.
