CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa football program wrapped up spring practice tonight with the annual spring game, ending with the offense trumping the defense, 45-25.
The offense was highlighted by wide receiver Marcus Weymiller pulling in eight catches for 129 yards and two touchdowns. He grabbed a one-handed 20-yard receiving touchdown in the first quarter, ending with a streaking 62-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Senior quarterback Aaron Bailey took snaps in the first two quarters, but it was Eli Dunne who took the majority of the rein tonight.
