The University of Northern Iowa department of athletics has announced its March Student-Athletes of the Month sponsored by Transamerica as voted on by the Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC).
This months' honorees are Klint Carlson (Waverly, Iowa), Brette Correy (Epworth, Iowa), Sharnae Lamar (Des Moines, Iowa) and Dylan Peters (Denver, Iowa).
Klint Carlson - Basketball
Carlson averaged 12.4 points per game and shot 55.8 percent in the month of March. Carlson earned a spot on the MVC All-Tournament team. In the MVC title game vs. Evansville, Carlson set a career-high with 17 points as he made 8-of-12 shots from the field.
