The University of Northern Iowa department of athletics has announced its April Student-Athletes of the Month sponsored by Transamerica as voted on by the Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC).
This month's honorees are Justin Baker (Kansas City, Kan.), Brette Correy (Epworth, Iowa), Kyle Driscoll (Hartland, Wis.) and Caitlin Wnek (Amana, Iowa).
Justin Baker - Track and Field
Baker set three school records during the month of April, including breaking his own record in the hammer throw twice and earning MVC Athlete of the Week honors. He has now set the hammer throw UNI record three times this outdoor season.
