Northern Iowa has oagain successfully kept a nice in-state prospect close to home.
Noah Carter, a 2019 combo guard from Dubuque Senior, committed to the Panthers Wednesday, he announced via Twitter. The 6-foot-5 standout had recently picked up offers from Wofford, Drake, South Dakota State, Air Force Lehigh and Truman State, as well as UNI.
But Carter couldn’t shake the Panthers, which offered on June 27 and made him a top priority from the jump.
Carter averaged 18.3 points per game for Dubuque Senior last season, all while battling a scary medical condition. Carter missed nearly two months after suffering compartment syndrome, which forms from extensive pressure building inside a muscle space in the body.
