CEDAR FALLS -- There was a huge pile of participation ribbons, metaphorically, in a garbage can outside the UNI-Dome Monday morning, ninety-nine ribbons to be accurate.
When you ask the Panthers what the mood has been like around football camp the past 36 hours after UNI saw a third quarter lead crumble away in a 56-31 loss to top-ranked North Dakota State Saturday that is a scene that describes it.
"That is probably for other people to judge and for us to prove," Panther head coach Mark Farley said if there were any silver linings in the loss.
