UNI football: Despite late Iowa offer, Cedar Falls wide receiver Logan Wolf sticks with Panthers

Despite a late offer from Iowa, Cedar Falls wide receiver Logan Wolf will stay home and sign with Northern Iowa. Wolf had been committed to the Panthers since early August.

He signed his National Letter of Intent Wednesday as part of the early signing period.

Wolf was arguably the state’s most dynamic receiver this season, racking up 1,221 yards and 22 touchdowns on 71 catches as Cedar Falls reached the Class 4A title game. Wolf picked up numerous FCS offers this year — South Dakota, South Dakota State, North Dakota, Western Illinois and others — but a chance to play football and walk on the UNI basketball team made Wolf’s decision clear-cut.
