CEDAR FALLS -- With his first sentence Monday, Northern Iowa coach Mark Farley summarized what every college football coach is thinking at the end of August.

"It is time to play," Farley said.

Now five days from opening inside Jack Trice Stadium against Iowa State at 7 p.m., Farley hopes he has his Panthers positioned and prepared to handle all the challenges the Cyclones will throw at UNI.

At the same time, Farley says he has no anxiety heading into the game despite the fact the Panthers have seven new staff members who will be coaching their first games within the progra.
