CEDAR FALLS, Iowa-- The University of Northern Iowa women's swimming and diving team hosted their home opener tonight, hosting Quincy University Hawks and Sioux Falls (SD) Cougars. The Panthers won 13 of 14 events.
Impressive freshmen debuts came from Kylie Engstrom, who won the 1000 freestyle in ten minutes, forty-eight and four hundredths of a second. Moriah Ross debut in the 200 IM, winning it, with a time of 2:10.90.
Katie Taylor continued to dominate in the pool, winning in the 100 backstroke and 500 freestyle events.
