CEDAR FALLS, Ia. — After nearly turning minimal regular-season success into Arch Madness glory, the Panthers trekked into the summer with a renewed confidence. Knocking on NCAA Tournament’s door will do that.
UNI strives for March memories and revered runs. These Panthers believe they can get back.
The big-man is healthy. The backcourt is full of veterans. And the freshman phenom is hungry for sophomore growth. Inside another wide-open Valley, UNI believes it has the horses to compete.
“This roster is better built to do that with the depth and experience,” Panthers coach Ben Jacobson said.
