CEDAR FALLS, Ia. — That lethargic feeling of watching a team sift through sludge no longer lingers over the McLeod Center. Even when things aren’t flowing perfectly, Northern Iowa’s offense has found ways to avoid drastic droughts.
Consider that the biggest takeaway from the Panthers’ riveting nonconference showing, which concluded Sunday with an 88-80 home win over Marshall. With 10 days off between games, UNI’s product didn’t feel as crisp as its western road trip. But look up and the Panthers (11-1) had quality numbers across the board.
Five UNI players reached double figures, with AJ Green (24 points) and Trae Berhow (23) again leading the attack.
