CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – Four Panthers were honored as UNI's student-athletes of the month for their achievements in October.
TAYLOR HOGAN
On the women's side, UNI swim and dive's Taylor Hogan finished as the Panther's top diver in the team's historic win against the University of Iowa. It was the first time in school history the Panthers topped the Hawkeyes in dual competition. She was named the Missouri Valley Conference's diver of the week for her performance. She also won the 1-meter dive against Indiana State.
CARLY SPIES
Carly Spies a middle blocker on the UNI volleyball team notched a career-high 11 blocks against Southern Illinois for UNI's best single-match total since 2013.
