IRVING, Texas – Three UNI football players were named to the Hampshire Honor Society by the National Football Foundation, Wednesday.
Joe Friedrich, Christian Jegen and Seth Thomas represented UNI on the list. Honorees are graduating seniors who exhausted their eligibility and maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college careers.
Friedrich, a four-year starter at long snapper, finished earned his degree in Marketing, Management and accounting with a 3.75 GPA. Jegen, a starting safety, earned a 3.25 GPA in Marketing Sales Management. Starting defensive end Seth Thomas tallied a 3.
