Darian DeVries looked at the box score, raised his eyebrows and smirked.
"I thought I gave them a 15-second break in there somewhere," Drake's head coach said with a laugh, referring to D.J. Wilkins and Brady Ellingson, who played all 40 minutes. "They're in shape. They can handle it."
No matter how many minutes they played, everyone on Drake and Northern Iowa's roster got a good workout Saturday night at the Knapp Center. The Bulldogs edged the Panthers 83-77 in one of the more back-and-forth, action-packed games you'll see.
