CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - Panther diver, Taylor Hogan, qualified for the NCAA Diving Zones with a new personal best of 286.35 on 3-meter against Nebraska-Omaha on Saturday afternoon.
Stepping onto the board for her final dive, the Panther junior needed just 44.05 points to secure her goal of qualifying for the Zones competition in Madison, Wisconsin in March. With a Back 1 ½ with 2 ½ Twists to close the round, she scored a 50.40, matching her season high for that dive and soaring past the qualifying standard of 280.
"It is so exciting to see her hard work pay off by accomplishing a goal that we have been working toward since her freshman year," Diving Coach Bethany Hovland said.
