TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Indiana State Sycamores posted a 74-60 victory over the University of Northern Iowa men's basketball team on Wednesday at the Hulman Center. Indiana State's Brenton Scott scored a career-high 30 points as he drained six three-pointers for the Sycamores.
UNI (10-8 overall, 2-3 MVC) started strong and opened up a 12-point first-half lead at 29-17 following a three-pointer by Klint Carlson with 6:23 remaining. UNI would take a 37-30 lead into the intermission.
Indiana State (10-7 outscored UNI in the second half, 44-23. The game was tied 45-45 with 12:47 left in the second half after a Matt Bohannon three-pointer.
