OMAHA, Neb.—The University of Northern Iowa women's swimming and diving team narrowly defeated Nebraska-Omaha this evening, 157-143.
Madison Rinaldi swam just over a minute in the 100 backstroke, taking first place in the event. Rinaldi timed in at one minute and one-hundredth of a second. Rinaldi would take first place in the 200 backstroke, swimming a 2:09.86.
Katie Taylor took first place in the 50 freestyle, swimming a 24.29. Taylor timed in at 2:22.57 in the 200 breaststroke for first place. Taylor would have her third first-place finish of the evening, swimming into first in the 200 IM with a time of 2:04.
