Swimming and Diving defeats Western Illinois, Falls to Iowa

IOWA CITY--The University of Northern Iowa women's swimming and diving team went 1-1 in dual competition tonight. The Panthers defeated the Western Illinois Leathernecks, 163-55 and fell to the Iowa Hawkeyes, 147-73.

Molly Lembezeder grabbed the sole first-place finish for the Panthers in the 100 freestyle, timing in at fifty-two second and .78 hundredths of a second. Lembezeder took second in the 50 freestyle, swimming a time of 23.91.

Lembezeder teamed up with Crystal Florman, Autumn Roepsch and Aftin Phyfe for a first-place finish in the 200 freestyle, timing in at 1:37.
