Swimming and Diving Defeats the Duhawks and Tritons

CEDAR FALLS--The University of Northern Iowa women's swimming and diving team defeated both the Iowa Central Tritons and the Loras College Duhawks.

Freshman Katie Taylor nabbed two first place finishes in the win over the Duhawks and Tritons. Taylor swam to first place in the 1000 freestyle, timing in at 10:41.44. Taylor would be back in action in the 100 freestyle, nabbing a time of 53.41.

Moriah Ross grabbed a first place finish in the 400 IM, swimming to a time of 4:46.47.

In the 200 freestyle, Kylie Engstrom also received a first place finish.
